Manufacturing Day 2020

Manufacturing day looked a little different in 2020! We have been proud to participate in Manufacturing Day for the last 5 years and couldn’t imagine not participating this year. Like most things in 2020, we had to adapt and plan for a safe Manufacturing Day that still accomplished the goals that we set out to achieve each year: reaching students, changing perceptions of manufacturing, presenting the many ways you can have a career in the industry, all the while, hosting an event for our employees to show our appreciation for what they do every day at DACRUZ Manufacturing.

As a result, we had a virtual event with invited students and guests. The virtual event included a presentation, inspiring video about manufacturing, and a Q&A session with our Lead Vertical Milling Supervisor, Sales Engineer, Director of Quality and Technology, and our Compliance Manager. This format was a great way to have a one on one conversation and opportunity for our guests to ask any questions that may be relevant to their career path and goals.

In addition to our zoom, we also enjoyed an outdoor employee lunch with t-shirts and an address from the President, Victor DaCruz. It has been a difficult year, and we appreciate our employees showing up and working through the ups and downs of 2020. We hope the participants enjoyed the event and we look forward to the next Manufacturing Day in 2021!
